Melissa Aguilar
Melissa Aguilar is a research associate in the corporate leadership department at The Conference Board in New York. Her research focuses on corporate governance and risk issues, such as succession planning, enterprise risk management and shareholder activism. At The Conference Board, Aguilar also serves as Executive Editor of Director Notes, a bimonthly online publication for corporate board members and business executives covering issues such as governance, risk and sustainability. Prior to joining The Conference Board, she was a contributor for more than five years at Compliance Week, reporting on a variety of compliance and corporate governance topics. Her work has also appeared in the Bloomberg Brief Financial Regulation newsletter. Aguilar previously held a number of editorial positions at SourceMedia Inc. She is a graduate of Binghamton University.
